With the signing of Tim Tebow, the New York Jets have already created a controversial dynamic. Current starting quarterback Mark Sanchez is undoubtedly aware of the Kyle Orton affair in Denver last year. When Orton lost 3 of the first 4 games for the Broncos, the fans put up such a boisterous clamoring for Tebow, replete with billboards, posters and #15 jerseys at games, they literally ran Orton out of town and Tebow leapfrogged the #2 QB Brady Quinn to become the starting QB for the Broncos. Given that Jets fans were already booing Mark Sanchez by the end of last season, it’s not a stretch to believe that Mark’s first misstep will trigger more “Te-bow, Te-bow, Te-bow” chants at MetLife Stadium. My prediction: it’s gonna get ugly. Will Sanchez get Tebowed or will Tim be Sanchized?
*Note: Tim Tebow has played in 23 games, but started only 14
